Billionaire co-founder Bill Gates shared his thoughts on looking “even healthier” than before, saying there’s nothing wrong with taking vitamins and getting checked every now and then to detect any abnormalities — a tip that young entrepreneurs should take up.
“I take vitamins because they don’t have any side effects,” Gates said in a podcast with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath when asked about health tips young entrepreneurs can adopt. “So it’s good to get your blood tested every now and then to make sure there’s nothing wrong with you,” he said.

Gates highlighted the existence of a test called the Grail test: “It’s not covered by all insurance in the US and probably not covered by most in India either, but if you can afford it, it’s a magical test that helps detect cancer long before other technologies can detect it,” he said.
Gates spoke about India’s contribution to Microsoft’s success and the “incredible people” from India he has worked with. He also praised current Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella as a “fun” guy and cited him as a major driving force behind the company’s achievements.
“I’ve had a great relationship with India because of my time at Microsoft. We hired some very talented IT graduates at that time and brought them to Seattle,” Gates said. They then came back to India to set up development centers for us, and we now have 25,000 employees in four locations.
Comparing the Indian and US legal systems, the billionaire said, “Trust me, the laws that are in place in the US don’t apply here. But just imagine, if we could quadruple the productivity of everyone in the legal system, it would transform justice. Because right now, the case backlog is a nightmare. And here is a potential solution.”
