However, hydration and electrolytes are both essential. So how can you make sure you meet both of these needs while staying true to your health goals? Is it even possible? absolutely.

Just add these 3 ultra-cooling ingredients (gond, rice soup, and sattu) and these 12 super-easy, super-healthy, and refreshing drinks to your summer drink arsenal. , you’ll be ready to take on the rising mercury in style.

Gond Katira

Rice soup is perfect for summer meals.

Also known as Chinese characters, Munjior mandothis is a great addition to your summer diet to prevent heat-related problems such as dehydration, skin problems, and intestinal upset.

How to make: Open and cook the rice (1 part and 14 parts water) without a lid or pressure. Filter the water and make the rice soup.

Try these four rice water drinks.

  • Quick rice water: Add a pinch of dried ginger and rock salt to a cup of rice water. Temper it by adding 1/2 teaspoon ghee and cumin seeds. Drink warm or at room temperature.

  • Kanji Oriya: Take the rice water and add 2 tablespoons of cooked rice to it. Leave it overnight to ferment. Next morning, stir in 2 tablespoons of curd, green chilli and 1 fresh coriander. Add 2-3 glasses of water. Add lemon juice and a pinch of salt. It’s chilled.

  • Mexican horchata: This Mexican drink is delicious and very cooling. Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon rice flour, and 1 inch cinnamon stick in a blender. Strain the mixture and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. It’s going to get darker. Let cool. Add sugar to taste to 1 liter of cold water, bring to a boil and mix in the cooled mixture. Stir well. Let it cool and take a sip.

  • Nigerian rice water: Add 1 tablespoon of rice and 1 cup of milk to a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth or a fine sieve. Add 1 teaspoon sugar, a pinch each of cinnamon and nutmeg, and a pinch of grated lemon zest. Serve chilled.

  • Do you like sweets? Just mix 1 tablespoon and 2 tablespoons of jaggery powder. Satu Mix together and then mix with a little water to form a smooth paste. Add cold water, lemon juice, and mint leaves.

  • Want some flavor? up to 2 tablespoons Satu Add a pinch of black salt, chaat masala and cold water to the powder. Your instant energy drink is ready.

  • Satz Masala chacha: Blend 2 tbsp. Satu Powder, 3-4 tablespoons of curd, some coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon of roasted peanuts, 1 green chilli, a few ice cubes. Add water. Temper 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil, add a pinch of rai and a few curry leaves. Add salt to taste.

  • Equipped with electrolytes: Just mix 2 tablespoons Satu Add 1 cup of coconut water and some ice. Let it cool and take a sip.
