Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurveda is embroiled in legal troubles after the company last week suspended sales of 14 of Ramdev’s products after the state of Uttarakhand suspended its manufacturing license with immediate effect.
The ministry informed the Supreme Court that it had directed 5,606 franchisees to remove these products from sale.
On May 14, the court reserved its decision on the contempt notices issued against Ramdev, his associate Balkrishna and Patanjali Ayurved in connection with the misleading advertisement case.

Patanjali informed the Supreme Court that it had directed media platforms to remove advertisements of these 14 products in all formats.
The matter is scheduled to be heard in court on July 30.
The Uttarakhand state licensing authority said in an affidavit that it had cancelled the manufacturing licences of 14 products of Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved and Divya Pharmacy on April 30. The action was taken citing “repeated violations” of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954.

10. Madhunasinivati Extra Power

12. Rivoglitte
13. Eye Grit Gold
14. Patanjali Drishti Eye Drops
The Supreme Court is currently considering a petition filed by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) alleging that Patanjali ran a defamatory campaign against the Covid-19 vaccination drive and modern medical practice.
