Celebrity fitness expert Yasmin Karachiwala shared an interactive video featuring Helen on her Instagram. When asked why she decided to join Pilates classes, Helen told Yasmin, “Every day you would ask me and I would say tomorrow. I knew you were tired of telling me. I felt guilty so the next day I called you and said darling, I am coming and I will never miss another Pilates class.” Helen also shared the benefits of the class, saying, “Yasmin, I feel so energetic, alive, so happy and I look forward to this every day. It makes me feel so good. It gives me a high. I don’t have to drink or smoke. Pilates gives me a high.” The video also shows Helen practicing Pilates with utmost sincerity.
Recalling the health issues she had before joining the classes, Helen said, “I had a cane. My cane is in a cupboard somewhere. I had knee problems. I had to get injections in my knee. It has healed completely. I can walk on my own and maybe even dance.” Helen concluded with a smile, “Tell all the dancers in the industry to stay calm. I’ll be back.” Sharing the video, Yasmin Karachiwala wrote, “Age is just a number when you’re dancing your life with Pilates.
