Ashwin Babu is carving a unique space for himself in the film industry with his versatile filmography. After last year’s psychological action thriller ‘Hidimba’, Ashwin is set to grab the attention of the audience with his latest release ‘Shivam Bhaje’.
Directed by Apsar, this fantasy action thriller blends action, emotion and spirituality to create a unique cinematic experience. The first teaser of Shivam Bhaje was released on June 19 and has already created a tremendous response.
The trailer of Shivam Bhaje is quite intriguing. It begins with Ashwin Babu having a disturbing dream sequence in which blood flows over a picture of Lord Shiva. This disturbing image sets the tone for the film. We also see Ashwin’s character confide in a doctor, “I’ve been getting headaches all of a sudden. I don’t know what’s going on.”
In the teaser, a key Aghori character offers some cryptic advice: “Sekara, if you can rise above your confusion and sharpen your mind, you will understand everything. This war is not yours. The enemy’s destruction is written by Nilakanthu himself.”
The teaser also hints at a series of crimes that will spark an investigation. Aghori issues an ominous warning: “You will encounter an unexpected catastrophe before you know it,” offering a glimpse of the action to come. One standout scene sees Ashwin’s character stick out his tongue to hold down a bad guy, setting up a fierce showdown that promises to be action packed. The teaser also closes with a powerful shot of Lord Shiva, emblematic of the film’s spiritual atmosphere.
The one minute and 14 second long teaser of “Shivam Bhaje” is packed with action, crime and commitment. Ashwin Babu’s performance is powerful and director Apsar’s vision is clearly impressive. The background score by Vikas Badisa adds tension to the teaser and builds anticipation for the entire film. Overall, the teaser builds anticipation for “Shivam Bhaje”.
Besides Ashwin Babu, the film also stars Digangana Sooryavanshi in the female lead role. The supporting cast includes Arbaaz Khan, Murali Sharma, Hyper Aadi, Brahmaji, Tulasi, Devi Prasad and Ayyappa Sharma, each playing important roles. Produced by Maheshwar Reddy Mouli, Shivam Bhaje is expected to be a major release. However, the release date is yet to be finalized.
Ashwin Babu, younger brother of famous presenter Omkar, made his debut with the film Genius in 2012. He gained recognition with Omkar’s successful Raju Gari Gadhi in 2015. Subsequent films like Nanna Nenu Naa Boy Friend, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and Raju Gari Gadhi 3 received mixed reviews, but Ashwin made a notable comeback with Hidimba last year. With Shivam Bhaje, he is set to continue his string of diverse and engaging roles.
