Applied Nutrition has announced the appointment of Marnie Millard OBE as an Independent Non-Executive Director (NED), with immediate effect.
Millard, who has extensive experience in the FMCG sector, previously worked at NicholsThe parent company of Vimtofrom 2013 to 2020.
Since then, she has held several prominent NED positions including Chair of UA92, Pura and Marks Electrical, as well as NED roles. Belvoir Fruit FarmShe has previously served as Chair of the Board of Kidly and as a non-executive director of Finsbury Food Group.
In addition to his role at the firm, Millard is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership Fellows at St George’s House and a Board Mentor for Critical Eye. He has also served as Chair of the CBI for the North West and was an advisor to the International Trade Committee. In 2018 he was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to international trade and business in the North West.

The announcement follows the appointment of Andy Bell CBE as Chairman of Applied Nutrition in February 2024.
Founded by Ryder in 2014, Applied Nutrition has experienced significant growth in recent years, with sales expected to grow from £11m in 2020 to £62m in 2023.
The company’s products are sold in over 60 countries, 85% of its products are manufactured in BRC Grade AA+ certified facilities, and it recently opened an office in Plano, Texas to increase its presence in the US market, becoming nationally available in Walmart within a year.
Applied Nutrition has partnerships with a range of professional sports teams and athletes, including Fulham FC, Rangers FC, Wigan Warriors RLFC, Paddy ‘The Buddy’ Pimblett and former Tour de France champion Sir Bradley Wiggins.
