Tech mogul Brian Johnson, who is passionate about anti-aging, shared one of the shocking key ingredients he uses every day to look younger.
In his latest YouTube video, Johnson, 46, says he has been munching on chocolate every day for the past “three years” to cheat death.
“Sometimes we don’t do what’s good for us,” Johnson said in the video. The video has been viewed nearly 500,000 times since it was posted on Thursday.
But this biohacker isn’t gorging on Hershey bars; he’s consuming a measured amount of cacao every day in his quest for health.
He lays out a long list of benefits that cacao has for the body, and claims that eating a healthy amount of cacao every day can do wonders for brain health, executive function, long-term memory, and heart health.
However, the California tech mogul stressed that not all the cocoa in the store will be “high quality.”
“If you want to buy high-quality cocoa, you need to consider a few things. The first is that it is pure cocoa. The second is whether you want to leave it unattended. Third And fourth, it needs to have a high content of flavonols,” he shared.
Johnson sells cocoa in his Blueprint store and claims his team has “scoured the world” for cocoa and “tested” it to find the healthiest available, but watching Straight from his store, he emphasized that people are more interested in eating more “quality food” than buying more “quality food.”
“There’s an assumption that if there’s food in our supermarkets, that food has somehow gone through a process to make sure it’s safe. That’s not true,” he explains.
Next, Johnson shares some easy recipes that incorporate cocoa powder for daily satiety.
Mix this with “nutty pudding,” and the tech mogul calls the addition “delicious.”
He also said that when he put some of the powder on top of “super veggies” (which he didn’t really like) and mixed it with nut butter, it tasted like “healthy Nutella.” he stated.
He would mix some of the cocoa with coffee and call it a “decadent” treat.
Johnson is no stranger to trying new anti-aging techniques.
He gained a lot of attention last year for his controversial and, in some quarters, unconventional way of trying to live forever.
He once received a blood transfusion from his 17-year-old son to keep his biological age as young as possible.
The biohacker spends about $2 million a year on his age-reversing scheme, which he calls his “project blueprint.”
He also claimed in February that he used a unique method to overcome both baldness and gray hair, despite claiming he was “genetically” supposed to be bald.
“The best time to tackle your hair is before it starts falling out,” Johnson insisted, urging his followers in their 20s to take precautions before their hair thins or falls out.
