Anti-aging advocate Brian Johnson may consider himself the epitome of youth, but the internet doesn’t believe it.
Johnson, the billionaire founder of payments company Braintree, posted a photo to X showing his facial changes over the years with the caption: “Even my Face ID is confused. I’m transitioning…” . X users were quick to respond to their comments, but it wasn’t necessarily supportive.
One X user wrote, “Trying to stop aging…it makes you age faster.” Others were a little more encouraging. Another user wrote, “You look good in every photo. The problem is you looked more natural in 2018.”
Mr Johnson, 46, has been on a grueling campaign since 2021 to reverse his biological age. His daily routine includes taking dozens of supplements each day, his three high-intensity workouts per week, and monthly colonoscopies and his MRI. Johnson’s doctors claim that his research has given him the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old and the lung capacity of an 18-year-old.
Johnson admitted that her appearance has changed from her first photo taken in 2018, before she started therapy, to her most recent photo in 2024. and teased his dramatic evolution by commenting that his pronouns have become “it/it.” ” He then asked X users to vote on when he had “reached his peak.”

Nearly 39,000 people have participated in the voting so far. A majority of 51.3% said Mr Johnson was at his ‘peak’ in 2018, 9.4% said he would be at his best in 2023 and 39.2% said he would be at his best in 2024.
