A youthful glow is easy to achieve at home with DIY treatments, skin therapists say.
She shared a step-by-step guide on how to use affordable oils and beauty hacks to get the best results.
Forward-thinking skin therapist Niamh Ryan has teamed up with make-up artist Charlene Flanagan to launch cosmetics brand Ella & Joe.
We have products for all your needs, from breakouts and hydration to anti-aging.
But Ryan has revealed the hacks you should add to your skincare routine to combat the signs of aging. That doesn’t include buying expensive beauty products.
facial massage
She recommended regular facial massages with coconut oil and a spoon chilled in the refrigerator.
She said that facial massage helps flush out toxins, reduce swelling, increase blood circulation, and promote flow.
This leaves your skin looking “brighter, firmer and more youthful.”
According to skin therapists, the first thing to do is warm up some coconut oil in your hands, but keep in mind that “a little goes a long way.”
After this, start massaging your face with your hands.

“Step 4. Pinch along your eyebrows to release tension and stimulate the muscles to prevent sagging.”
Ryan recommended using a warm, damp microfiber mitt to thoroughly remove the coconut oil.

Customers gave it a 4.2 star rating and praised the improvement in their skin.
One reviewer said her skin felt “soft, smooth, and glowing” after using it, while another raved that it was “good value for money.”

According to Medical News Today, coconut oil can moisturize dry skin, reduce inflammation, and promote wound healing.
A study published in the National Library of Medicine also revealed that this oil may have antibacterial properties.
People with sensitive or oily skin are advised to test on a small area of their body before using elsewhere to prevent potential side effects.
skin win
Ryan’s coconut facial massage came after he revealed the anti-aging procedure he uses on his skin before applying makeup.
She recommended hydrating with a hyaluronic acid serum, as the skin produces fewer natural oils as we age.
SPF must be applied after this step.
Ella &Jo’s Plump and Protect Day Cream SPF 30 is priced at $42 on the brand’s website.
Ryan recommended swapping powder makeup products for creamy formulas for a more youthful look.
“Cream products help restore moisture to mature skin and are more pigmented to cover redness and blemishes that powders cannot cover,” she said.
