Actress Mallika Sherawat underwent acupuncture treatment on Sunday and called it her “favourite treatment”.
Malika posted a video to her Instagram Stories showing her lying on a spa bed with needles being placed on her face.
Acupuncture involves inserting very thin steel needles into the skin to stimulate specific points throughout the body. Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of health conditions and symptoms, including pain.
“My favorite therapy is acupuncture,” Malika wrote in the caption.
On Saturday, Mallika posted a video of herself beating the heat with a refreshing dip in the pool.
She captioned the post: “What’s the best way to beat the summer heat? A refreshing dip in the pool. What are you doing to beat the heat?”
Mallika, a fitness enthusiast, often shares videos of herself working out and pushing herself to her limits.
On the work front, she was last seen in Rajat Kapoor’s comedy-drama “RK/RKay”, co-starring Ranveer Shorely, Manu Rishi Chadha and Kubbra Sait.
Mallika made her Bollywood debut in Jeena Sirf Merre Liye in 2002 and went on to star in films like Khwahish and Kis Kis Ki Kismat. In 2004, she garnered attention for her bold performance in Murder, starring Emraan Hashmi.
Mallika has also appeared in Hollywood films such as “Hiss” and “Politics of Love.” (IANS)
