Raphael Kwabena Ammoti, head of nutrition at Ada East, said that beautiful, glowing skin and anti-aging are not necessarily about cosmetics, but rather about eating a variety of fruits and vegetables.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Ammoty said that most fruits and vegetables, such as blackberries, carrots and tomatoes, are rich in antioxidants that slow or prevent aging and other age-related disorders. He said he is doing so.

He says that the skin is the outer layer that represents the internal problems of the body, so instead of using lotions, creams and masks to cure the outer layer, we need to tackle and fight skin challenges from the core. said.

Nutrition officials said fruits and vegetables contain vitamins that produce collagen, a protein that keeps skin firm and elastic, protects it from sun damage and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

He said that in order to have beautiful and youthful skin, it is essential to exercise regularly and be careful about what you eat.

He said fruits and vegetables have many other health-promoting properties that are necessary for the entire body to function effectively, including anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic properties.

He added that foods rich in vitamin C support collagen production to make skin smooth and supple, and its anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce signs of aging. Mr. Anmoorti cautioned against the use of cosmetics, especially bleach, for anti-aging or alleviating other skin problems.
