- Find a quiet place where you can sit up straight and comfortably, such as the edge of your bed, the floor, or a chair.
- Close your eyes and focus on your breathing or another focus to be fully present.
- Loosen your shoulders, relax your jaw, soften your eyebrows, and relax your body.
Mindful meditation to accept distractions
We’ll be the first to admit that. Meditation is no joke. And if you’ve ever meditated, you’ve experienced just a small sample of how many different channels our brains are tuned to every day. Wouldn’t it be great if we could tackle everything on our to-do list every day without getting sidetracked or distracted by the latest trailer vying for our attention?

The same goes for distracting thoughts. In this meditation, we accept distractions and greet those that wander or disappear on their own with kindness and patience.
