What is energy healing?
The whole concept of energy within our bodies and the subsequent healing of that energy has different meanings depending on where you are in the world. Having spent time researching health and healing iteratively through both Western and Eastern institutions, Dr. Perry has a unique perspective on this field.
“Energy is still not well understood here in the Western world,” she explains. “In Asian countries, it is definitely considered the norm. Just like you and me, the mind, body, and spirit are all part of an energy frequency.”
When it comes to determining exactly what energy actually is, scientists and energy healers alike will tell you the same thing: our entire existence is made up of repeating molecules of energy, Dr. Perry said. says. “Look up anything from Tesla to Einstein,” says the energy expert. “Energy has been talked about for years, it’s not new.”
“We can bring together different approaches and philosophies and even different ways of thinking and approaches to personalized health. And I think that’s the most important thing. What works for some people. What may work for one person may not work for another,” says Dr. Perry, explaining her unique approach to energy work, which combines Western and Eastern teachings.

Is energy work BS?
When it comes to skeptics’ criticisms of her field, Dr. Perry’s answer is simple. After experiencing the effects of energy work firsthand, she has dedicated her career to exploring the power of energy work and believes that the specific energy movements she feels after a session are unlike anything she has ever encountered in Western medicine. was different and shared. While there is minimal scientific support behind energy practices in Western countries, she says recent increased public awareness should have a positive impact on the legitimacy of this practice. “If we have a question and they want to come up with a hypothesis, we bring in the science. So now that there’s more interest in the energy sector, we’re bringing in the science as well. I think we will collect more,” he explains. Dr. Perry.
