A woman whose hair was falling out due to stress has shared the 79p vitamin that made her hair look healthy again.
Andrea Ventura shared details of her hair care journey through a video posted to her TikTok channel @andreventurrr.
She said: “I had stress-related hair loss.
“I felt so alone and even more stressed when I saw so much scalp. But my dermatologist assured me it would go away, and she was right. is.”
When Andrea’s hair was at its worst, it became very thin and her scalp was noticeably bald.
But thanks to six important things, I look much healthier now.
One of the things that helped Andrea’s hair grow back was taking vitamin C tablets, which you can buy from Boots for 79p.
Vitamin C deficiency can cause your hair to become brittle and fall out, so taking supplements can help keep your hair thick and healthy.
Another method Andrea used to improve her hair was minoxidil.
Minoxidil is an over-the-counter drug that promotes hair growth.
You can buy it online for around £20.
Andrea said she also found platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections helpful.
With a PRP injection, a clinician takes a blood sample from a patient and places the sample in a centrifuge to create platelet-rich plasma.
The platelet-rich plasma is then returned to the body. the goal area (in this case the hair).
Platelet-rich plasma stimulates cell regeneration and tissue regeneration, which helps in hair regrowth.
However, PRP is a fairly expensive treatment, costing hundreds of pounds for a single session at a dermatologist.
Andrea also said she used less heat on her hair and stopped wearing tight ponytails, which can cause hair damage and hair loss.
Her hair now looks much thicker and has started to grow a lot of downy hair.
Andrea’s video must have impressed many people, as it has racked up over 93,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
One person said, “I was very encouraged by the turnaround.”
Another said: “Wow! That’s amazing!”
A third person said to me, “I’m facing this problem right now.”
