The brand is COSMOS Natural certified, declaring that all its products are made from natural ingredients, which means they contain fewer ingredients than the market average and reduce the biological burden on the skin.

Additionally, the botanical ingredients used are free of heavy metals and microbial and fungal contaminants and are sustainably grown on Soil Association/COSMOS certified farms. It is preserved using COSMOS certified ingredients and has a shelf life of 6 months after opening.
What was the first ingredient you decided to use for Almora Botanica and why?
We have identified several ingredients that are considered “rasayanas” or adaptogens. Centella asiatica (gotu kola) is one such iconic herb. It helps strengthen the collagen network and is used in several of our formulations. Adaptogens are well known in Ayurveda for their benefits to skin health and internal health. Other examples include licorice (yastimadu), bidens pilosa (Himalayan Ladakh tea) and curcumin.
