Drew Barrymore is having a little fun with her social media edits. Barrymore has been in the spotlight since she was a child, and she’s only getting better every year. Here’s a look at her super fun health, wellness, and fitness routine.
Barrymore finds that she has the most fun working out with friends. Her workout routine includes ballet, cardio, dance and weight training. “I’m also realizing that the older I get, the more I need Pilates,” she said. shape“It’s a very small movement and very fun. The next day I feel the results and I feel stronger. The problem I have with training is consistency. It’s my biggest weakness.”
Barrymore starts her day with lemon water: “I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was have some hot water with lemon juice in it,” she said. Grub Street“It’s the best way to fuel my body to start the day. Working out with my trainer Marnie Alton has been amazing – she pushes me but also inspires me – it’s truly life-changing. For a post-workout snack, I make avocado toast. I keep it simple by mashing some avocado and adding fresh lemon juice, sea salt, pepper and sometimes chilli flakes if I’m feeling bold.”
Barrymore meditates and engages in therapy for her mental health. “I go to therapy every week, no matter what the cost,” she said. shape“20 minutes [meditation session] For those who can’t find the 20 minutes or the discipline, [to meditate]I totally empathize with that too… [find a therapist] Someone who can challenge you and really help you make sense of things and break the cycle.โ
Barrymore doesn’t drink alcohol and enjoys mocktails with friends. “I’m not involved in programming. It’s not my thing,” she said. shape“I just stopped doing things that always led to bad behaviors. For me, it’s not hard. Drinking is much harder than not drinking. If you can truly change, you can free yourself from your own narrative of ‘I’m a broken, stuck person.’ I keep alcohol in my house and I serve alcohol to people. It’s a very calm, confident process. I still love to party with my friends, so [the holiday season] Luckily for me, it doesn’t inspire me.”
Barrymore is a fan of Vitamin E oil to keep her skin looking great: “I’ve noticed that when I wake up in the morning, my skin doesn’t look as dry,” she said. The Zoe Report“It’s flexible, [the oil is] “It’s super moisturizing, and I love it. It’s really pure. There are no other additives in it. I think it has a little bit of olive oil in it. It’s a brand called NOW. I’m obsessed with it. I slather it on once or twice a week. When all else fails, I become a little human with lots of Vitamin E and oil.”
