Before we get into her entire workout routine, let’s take a quick look at Eva’s legs and arms. She shared this photo on New Year’s Eve 2022, and they’re clearly stronger and healthier than ever.

She focuses more on weight training than cardio.
After posting the video to his Instagram, Eva’s trainer, Grant Roberts, was inundated with questions about what kind of workouts he and Eva do together. When asked if she does cardio, he replied, “A little bit…but weight training is what gets her in shape :).”
Moves like reverse dumbbell flys (which Eva demonstrates so effortlessly in the video) are a great way to tone and strengthen your back – plus, they can help improve your posture.
She’s a fan of strength training using cable machines.
If you have access to a gym (at home or otherwise), a cable machine is a great alternative to free weights for resistance training. Here, Eva uses a single cable squat row for a full-body compound movement. She makes this exercise look easy, but this move is a great workout for your back, arms, core and legs.

She’s crazy about TRX training.
Watch Eva perform handstand rowing using the TRX Suspension System (amazing!). The added instability of the rope allows Really It really ramps up the challenge by getting your muscles activated and burning. Her celebrity followers couldn’t help but take note of her incredible strength. “Beast mode,” Gabrielle Union wrote in the comments section. “Oh my goodness. OK,” Debra Messing added.
When asked about her training style, her trainer Grant Roberts said: Hollywood Life She’s never in a bad mood and works hard. “She’s superhuman. I don’t know how else to explain it,” he said.
She practices yoga.
When she’s not strength training, Eva is hitting the yoga mat. In fact, she even did prenatal yoga while pregnant with her son, Santi. “I did yoga every day with my doula during my pregnancy and it really helped with the weight gain and back pain,” she wrote on Instagram. And she’s been doing it ever since.
Eva also likes to combine strength training with cardio.
For one, her trainer says she used the sled as a warm-up. This pushing and pulling exercise is great for strength and conditioning because it builds muscle and gets your heart rate up at the same time. Plus, it counts as a full-body workout because Eva has to use her whole body to move the sled backwards.

She focuses on basic weight training.
What techniques does Grant use on Eva? “Traditional, old-school weight training with some unique angles and movements,” he said. Hollywood LifeAnd here’s one example: Grant pointed out in his post that Eva is doing deadlift variations that focus on the hamstrings and lats, and she’s nailing it.
“Power up, girl!!!” says fitness queen Hilary Swank. If the deadlift intimidates you, don’t worry; there are plenty of variations to get you started.
She’s going to try training.
This is one of the ways she makes working up a sweat fun. Here she does a minute of planking to the lyrics of “I Need Love” by LL Cool J. Next time you don’t feel like working out, take a leaf out of Eva’s book: play your favorite tunes and get planking.
She’s committed to finding balance.
On her Instagram, Eva can be seen performing a tripod handstand, an advanced yoga move that requires a lot of core strength and stability to execute. Yoga is a great way to improve flexibility and balance. While Eva is clearly a pro, there are plenty of beginner-friendly moves to help you ease into yoga with your asana practice.
