The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Outer Banks announced that Andrew Gaudreau, a respected yoga guru in the Outer Banks, will lead a meditation on Monday at 8:30 a.m. for anyone who would like to participate. The session will last approximately 45 minutes at the UUCOB meetinghouse, located at 831 Herbert Perry Road, at the corner of Herbert Perry and Kitty Hawk roads. There is no charge to attend, but donations are highly encouraged, according to a release from UUCOB. Everyone is welcome to attend.
“Over the past 15 years, Andrew’s practice has been nurtured by many influences, including extended residencies at the Satchidananda Ashram in Virginia and the Integral Yoga Institute in New York,” the announcement said. “As an avid student of yoga philosophy, Andrew is excited to share his deeper understanding of the many elements of yoga beyond Hatha yoga and how to incorporate it into everyday life. He wants to hold space for and help grow everyone on their yoga path, regardless of their previous experience.”
“UUCOB is honored that Andrew shares his practice, knowledge and deep sense of peace with the Outer Banks community in such a generous and open way.”
