Sara Ali Khan had a healthy start to her weekend. An avid fitness enthusiast, the actress rarely misses out on a gym visit. On Saturday, her fitness coach Namrata Purohit shared a video of Sara performing Pilates with resistance bands. Clad in neon green athleisure, she started her workout with a Pilates version of lunges, followed by pull-ups and other stretching exercises. The resistance bands were fixed to a reformer and Sara manipulated the handles as needed to maintain slow, controlled movements. Calling Sara a Pilates girl, Namrata wrote, “Saturday with Sara Ali Khan. Working on balance, coordination and of course overall strength and stability.” Pilates helps in improving flexibility, strengthening muscles and core, improving posture and reducing back pain.

Before that, Sara Ali Khan had another Pilates session with her celebrity coach. She pushed herself even harder by doing the Cadillac with Pilates. Her abs day was indeed an intense showcase of tenacity and determination. Sara gracefully completed the intense workout under the guidance of Namrata Purohit. Giving a challenging twist to abs exercises, she performed upside down sit-ups on the Cadillac. To focus on the core and obliques, she performed side plank sit-ups on the Pilates chair.
Sara Ali Khan is a Pilates believer. Earlier, she was seen doing various Pilates workouts, which can be seen in Namrata Purohit’s Instagram videos, where she pumped her hands up and down, pulled on a rope and did five repetitions. Taking her physical training to the next level, she showed off backward lunges with dumbbells and bicep curls. Sara’s natural proficiency speaks volumes about her dedication to fitness.
