Haridwar, July 19: Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali Research Centre said that there is power in Ayurveda and by using this traditional therapy, people can escape the side effects of common allopathic treatments for fever and reap the benefits of remaining side effect free.
He mentioned the Ayurvedic drug ‘Feboglit’ and said a study on it has been published in the world-renowned American research publication Wiley’s research journal ‘Animal Models and Experimental Medicine’.
Acharya Balkrishna said in the handout, “When the body encounters infection or inflammation, immune cells release a variety of anti-inflammatory cytokines. This research study shows that Febogrit can reduce fever without side effects by targeting the underlying cause of fever.”
Speaking on the occasion, Balkrishna said that it is a matter of pride for Indian culture and Sanskrit language that the names of Indian medicinal plants have been published in an international journal in Sanskrit and Devanagari script, the original languages of Ayurveda.
