Bernadette Fahey is seen working out outdoors in her workout clothes. The Berne Worldwide Fitness founder, who recently announced her engagement to Jordan Sucker, looks sensational in a new social media post during an intense training session. “Wow!” one follower commented. “Amazing! 😍πŸ”₯,” added another. So how does she approach diet, fitness and self-care? Here’s everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

“It’s 80/20,” Fahey told Women’s Health about her approach to weight loss. “We’re not going to be perfect all the time, so don’t beat yourself up if we aren’t. We’re human, and eating fried food, drinking wine, staying up late, and all the other fun things are a big part of life.”

Fahey recommends starting your day with hot water and fresh lemon juice: “The acidity of the lemon activates enzymes in your stomach, helping you digest food and speeding up your metabolism. Starting your day with a hot drink other than coffee can also help you cut down on your caffeine intake,” she says.

Fahey also recommends prioritizing self-care: “Find a self-care activity that nourishes you and brings you joy, whether that’s a walk in the park, a swim at the beach, or a sauna. Schedule this on your calendar, just like you would a daily meeting today,” she says.

Fahey is an avid meditator. “I’ve always been very focused on working the mind and nervous system, not just the body,” she told Women’s Health. “I start every session with breathing exercises and mindful meditation, and I use organic peppermint oil to help you breathe and calm the mind and think, ‘Okay, I’m here, I’m ready to move.'” “Meditating can help clear out the information overload that accumulates every day and causes stress,” she says.
