MINOTT, N.D. (KXNET) — Omi’s Stones, Herbs & Thangz opened its doors earlier this month, and we spoke with CEO Omi to learn about their message, hopes and journey so far.
“We offer spiritual services, products and tools to help individuals deepen their self-awareness and spiritual practice,” Omi says. “And that’s true of any spiritual practice.”
It all started with a completely different business: Omi Academy.
“I started a school called OMI Academy LLC,” Omi explains. “OMI Academy is a place where individuals can really learn how to activate their abilities, tap into their gifts, deepen their practice, and share with others who are on the same path. So opening this store is just an extension of that, to say, ‘This is the place where you can get the tools and products to deepen your practice and continue on your spiritual journey.'”
The store is filled with crystals, herbs, candles and other spiritual products, and Omi says the building also offers a healing space for visitors.
“When customers walk in, we want them to feel at home,” she continues. “We really want them to feel peace, joy and relaxation. We want them to come into the space, feel at home and find something that speaks to them.”
Omi explained that the store is for people of all different spiritual practices, and while they welcome the community, they also feel that the community welcomes them.
“I feel like crying,” Omi says. “I just want to say thank you. Thank you for welcoming us. Thank you for your love. We are here for you. We want to share this space with you.”
