A new Pilates studio is opening in Buckhead.
Pech Pilates is set to open this fall in Andrews Square. The name, which means “peach” in French, is a fusion of Georgia and France, two locations that contribute to the studio’s ethos.

Before living in Atlanta, Sellers had the opportunity to spend time in France, where her brother lived.
“There I learned from some really amazing master instructors,” she said.
But Sellers’s encounter with Pilates dates back much earlier: She first became interested in the class while in college in Florida, where she found a studio, started taking classes, and was hooked.
Sellers studied Exercise Science in college before moving on to medical school, bringing her knowledge and background in anatomy to inform her approach to Pilates, health and movement, and she gained experience working in the sports medicine field rehabilitating athletes. She also aims to take a contemporary approach to practice.
“Having done Pilates for so many years, I know what works and can tailor it,” she says. “This has really worked for my personal clients and for me. I respect the roots of Pilates, but it’s 100 years old and there have been scientific advances, and I want to keep up.”
For the first three or so months at Pêche Pilates, anyone can join, but after that, it’s by referral only.
In between building his studio, Sellers teaches classes around the city that are open to the public.
“I hope to continue doing that after I open the studio and make it more accessible,” she said.
