Reddit user Grindshow opened up about her skin care woes in a post on the 45 Plus Skincare forum.
“I am 63 years old. [in] “Over the last few months the skin on my forearms has changed dramatically – it really does look like alligator skin!” she wrote.
“It’s now gone up my arms and makes me uncomfortable when I wear short sleeves. It’s really bad!”
She explained that she’d tried exfoliating in the shower and using both retinol and hyaluronic acid creams, but to no avail.
“It’s been two months and it’s only getting worse. I’m going to see a dermatologist, but does anyone have any ideas on what might actually help?” she asked.
The original poster added that she had tried several creams, including Gold Bond, but “nothing worked.”
However, several commenters claimed the brand’s Gold Bond Age Renew Crepe Corrector Body Lotion was their best bet.
“Gold Bond crepe cream is the best,” one person wrote.

“I only discovered Gold Bond Crepe Cream about 2 months ago and I love it,” added another.
The more cream I applied, the better the results seemed to be.
“I only use it on my upper arms, chin and neck,” she says.
“I felt a difference. I’m 52 and going through menopause.”
The best part is that anti-aging is also affordable to buy.
Gold Bond Age Renew Crepe Corrector Body Lotion retails for $11.37 on Amazon.
