Nutritional vitamin infusion therapy franchise Prime IV Hydration & Wellness is accelerating its expansion across the U.S., recently opening its third location in Nashville’s Green Hills neighborhood.
Founded in 2017 by wellness industry veteran and scientist Amy Neary, Prime IV has grown rapidly to more than 125 locations nationwide to meet growing consumer demand for non-invasive wellness solutions.
Franchise services include IV Therapy, Micronutrient Injections, NAD+ Treatment, Weight Loss Solutions, Cryotherapy and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
The company plans to open 97 more spas this year, with a goal of having a total of 750 franchise locations by the end of 2027.
Prime IV will open 59 new spas in 2023 alone, recording 120% growth year-over-year, up from 113% in 2022.
Changing tastes
The newest location in Nashville was developed through a partnership with local healthcare entrepreneur, Dr. Gary Ferguson. With 45 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. Ferguson has started and sold eight businesses and overseen the initial public offerings of several technology-enabled healthcare services companies.
“In recent years, we have seen a notable shift in consumer preferences away from traditional inpatient and outpatient care towards more accessible, preventative healthcare approaches that put personal health first,” he said.
“This change is a direct result of the incredible growth brands like Prime IV are currently experiencing. When I began looking for my next business venture, I knew this was a franchise that would allow me to make a positive impact on the people of Nashville.”
“Gary’s experience developing and advancing some of the most innovative technologies and concepts in healthcare makes his confidence in Prime IV’s business model even more encouraging,” said Neary, CEO and founder of Prime IV.
Ferguson has already expressed his intention to increase local presence of the treatment, which is said to improve hydration, enhance athletic performance and recovery, combat fatigue, protect against sunburn and support weight loss efforts, and to introduce additional Prime IV locations into the market as a service available to the public.
“We are confident not only in the success of his team’s first spa, but also in the role he will play in building the brand’s regional footprint throughout the Nashville metropolitan area,” Neary said.
