Square Enix has announced two controller recipes from its Xbox Design Lab. FFXIV Dawn Trail Pictomancer and Viper job classes. Pictomancer is the standard model controller and costs $9.99 more due to using the Dream Vapor console, at $79.98, while Viper is the elite model, costing $149.99.
These are recipes, so they can be further tweaked; the default shared by Square Enix is the Xbox Design Lab controller design, which is based on the official Pictmancer and Viper art and color schemes. FFXIV Dawn TrailThe Pictomancer uses a Dream Vapor body, Robot White back, Astral Purple bumper, Glacier Blue triggers, Retro Pink D-pad, Glacier Blue thumbsticks, Gray on White ABXY buttons, and Black on White display, menu, and share buttons. The Viper recipe uses a Garnet Red body and back, Bright Silver Metallic bumpers and triggers, Bright Silver Metal Cloth D-pad, Bright Silver Metal thumbstick base and Nocturnal Green topper, Nocturnal Green ABXY buttons, and Ash Gray display, menu, and share buttons.
It’s not uncommon for Microsoft to offer such presets for specific game releases. For example, First descendants has been released and its own recipes are also available. Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
