Why not promote your wellbeing program to departments, colleagues and friends across campus?
Hokie Wellness is accepting volunteer applications for the role of Hokie Wellness Champion. To become a Champion, you must have a passion for health and wellness, be willing to volunteer your time, and have the approval and support of your manager.
The Champion is expected to:
- Participate in a half-day kickoff training each year
- Spend at least two hours each month promoting wellness within and outside your department
- Participate in hour-long bimonthly meetings to stay in touch and receive continuing health education
- Before each meeting, you will complete a short form describing your health promotion activities.
Applications will be accepted until August 15th. Winners will be notified of their half-day training by the end of August.
