Noah Kahan has used his platform to aggressively advocate for better mental health, and it’s clear he’s not just talking it up, he’s walking the talk. Since founding his fundraising initiative, The Busy Head Project, last year, the Vermont singer-songwriter has raised more than $2 million to support mental health resources across the country, including in rural areas.
The Busy Head Project, run by the Vermont Community Foundation and supported by the nonprofit Sailworks, will raise funds from ticket sales, direct donations, and other offerings (like livestream tickets), and will donate the proceeds directly to organizations “chosen by Noah that are committed to mental health awareness and focus on community impact by providing access to resources,” according to a press release from the project.

Organizations benefiting include Bring Change to Mind, Jack.org, Oasis Center, Project Venture, Rural Behavioral Health Institute and Upper Valley Haven.
