You don’t have to spend a fortune to fight wrinkles and frown lines.
The 64-year-old woman shared the three products she swears by for smooth skin.
Commenting on a Reddit post, user Major-Supermarket619 shared an unusual trick he discovered for getting rid of facial wrinkles.
“Seriously, medical grade skin tape, readily available at any drug store, can be applied to the creases between your eyebrows overnight and works wonders,” the poster said.
She noticed that this unexpected product made her skin smoother.
“I’m 64 and I don’t have any frown lines or wrinkles on my forehead,” she says.
Nexcare Flexible Clear First Aid Tape and Dispenser is available at CVS for $6.29.
While medical tape isn’t designed for anti-aging purposes, some beauty brands are developing their own alternatives.
However, social media users explained why they prefer to use rescue tape instead.
“Flournies are expensive, and I always wake up with one on my pillow,” she says.

“It sticks really well and is really cheap,” she said of her favorite medical tape.
Another Reddit user also supported the medical tape recommendation in the comments section.
“I agree with the medical tape-on-sleeping method,” wrote one beauty fan.
“[It’s the] It’s the only thing that fixed my 11 wrinkles that even Botox didn’t help.”
The original poster also recommended two products from The Ordinary to perfect the smooth finish.
She revealed that she uses the brand’s $9.70 Argireline Solution 10% Serum.
According to The Ordinary, the serum uses an “advanced formula” that smoothes skin.
The manufacturer explained that the product “targets dynamic brow, crow’s feet and laugh lines in an effective, ‘non-injectable’ manner.”
Next, the poster treated her skin to Matrixyl 10% + HA, which costs $10.90.
This lightweight serum is touted to promote plump, firmer skin.
The manufacturer claims that the product “supports collagen production throughout the skin, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in areas of the face.”
“I use the normal combo, [my skin] “Let it dry and tape it down,” the Reddit user said.
One Reddit user raved about The Ordinary’s skincare combo, calling it “Botox in a bottle.”
