Daniel Harman is the founder of BioSynergy, a UK-based sports supplement company.
Products include the BioSynergy DNA and Epigenetics Kit, which identifies the risk of collagen breakdown and skin glycation and offers advice on how to mitigate it.
In an interview with The US Sun, he revealed his affordable anti-ageing secrets.
Full without fillers
Herman recommended focusing on collagen production to restore the skin’s youthful plumpness.

“Applying a retinoid cream can boost collagen production and improve skin texture,” he says.
“Use a good quality collagen and vitamin supplement.
“Incorporate peptide-rich products to boost collagen and elastin production.”
Fresh radiance
Herman said carefully selected ingredients in at-home skin care products could be an alternative to Botox.

“Use a serum that contains antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, to protect your skin from free radical damage,” he said.
Antioxidants are also found in certain cosmetic products to protect against environmental damage.
He said another popular ingredient helps skin look hydrated and plump.
“Make sure your skin is well hydrated with a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid,” he said.
“Many foundations and powders now contain SPF to protect the skin from UV damage.
“Establish and maintain a consistent skin care routine that is tailored to your skin type and concerns.”

He said a dermatologist or skin care specialist could provide individualized advice on the best treatment.
However, it’s important to prioritize “a balanced diet, regular exercise, enough sleep, and stress management to support overall skin health.”
“Practice facial yoga and exercises to tone your facial muscles and improve blood circulation,” he adds.
How to rejuvenate your hands
Herman shared some must-try tips to make your hands look younger:
“Use a rich hand cream with ingredients like shea butter, glycerin and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and firm skin,” he says.
“Exfoliate regularly with a gentle scrub or alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover.”
“Apply a retinoid cream to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture.
“Use a hydrating hand mask or paraffin wax treatment to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate your skin.”
Herman’s advice to practice facial yoga comes in the wake of a study published by the National Library of Medicine.
In 2018, a small group of women between the ages of 45 and 65 committed to doing facial exercises for 30 minutes each day.
Most participants noticed a visible improvement in facial fullness within 20 weeks.
Many people believe that facial yoga can strengthen the muscles in your face, but more research is needed to back up that claim.
