Tailwind Nutrition has announced its latest limited edition flavor, Blueberry Lemonade Endurance Fuel, developed in partnership with online nutrition marketplace The Feed.
Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel is a sports nutrition drink mix that combines calories, electrolytes and hydration for athletes, which Tailwind says means no more gels, chewy candies, bars or salt tablets.
The recommended serving contains 50g carbohydrate, 620mg sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium. It’s designed to be mixed with water for a clear, easy-to-consume drink during training or racing without upsetting the stomach. The limited-edition Blueberry Lemonade flavor is available in a four-serving stick pack for $10. It’s available now at TailwindNutrition.com and The Feed.
“While our company is focused on helping all endurance athletes reach their goals with great nutrition and hydration, developing Blueberry Lemonade was especially fun for us here in Durango because the product was inspired by our love of cycling, the sport that Tailwind was born in over a decade ago,” said Jeff Beerling, co-founder of Tailwind Nutrition.
Tailwind also recently launched a watermelon-lime flavor, Dowwalter Melon Endurance Fuel, which was developed in collaboration with Tailwind-sponsored athlete Courtney Dowwalter, who used the flavor to win the Triple Crown last summer. The company adds that the popular flavor has now officially landed in Tailwind’s core product lineup.
For shorter or less strenuous rides, try Tailwind’s Rapid Hydration instead, a low-calorie electrolyte mix with a light, refreshing taste.
