Dr. Tealsa leading personal care brand focused on bringing everyday wellness to consumers through its bath and other skin care products, welcomed guests to a special relaunch event and immersive wellness experience. The brand used the event as an opportunity to demonstrate to Nigerian consumers its commitment to the country and continued dedication to customer satisfaction. The event also served as a platform to introduce two new product lines.
The event, which brought together brand stakeholders including local exclusive product distributors, legal partners, international and local brand representatives, female and male content creators, influencers, retailers and media, had the theme; Dr. Teal’s Health Experiencewill be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Ebony Life Place, Victoria Island.
During meal breaks, the brand’s guests enjoyed engaging health conversations, delicious canapés, food, beverages, live product demonstrations and the product launch of the newly launched Dr Teal’s Prebiotic Lemon Balm and Avocado Ceramide ranges.
The evening will begin with an engaging panel session featuring popular creators. Ifi Okoye, Ayoyinka Abolarin, Holistic Wellness Experts Damilola Adedeji and Nicole Chikwe the audience’s favorite moms and millennial content creators discussed the creative life, the influence of trends/algorithms, juggling real life with social media, and most importantly, how Dr. Teal can help you get better sleep as a creator and mom.
The second panel session featured female creators from GenZ. Kamsi, Angel Obasi “Style Connoisseur”, Nonye Udeogu “This Thing Called Fashion”‘.Also, Damilola Adedeji and event organizer Nicole ChikweThese women discussed how they deal with anxiety and disappointment when their content underperforms, and how Dr. Teal’s bath technique helps them de-stress and relax during creative work.
Popular male creators appeared to conclude the evening’s panel session. Akah Anani, JayOnAir, Frank Itom, Dami Dave, Participated Nicole Chikwe and Damilola Adedejichatted with the man about health and wellness, and also discussed staying calm when exposed to negativity on social media, and how as a content creator, Dr. Teal’s products can help you on your health journey.
Holistic wellness expert Damilola Adedeji, co-host of the event, led a live demonstration of the new product range and other Dr. Teals products, helping guests understand what happens to the body, soul and mind when they incorporate Dr. Teals products and expert detox, unplug and de-stress techniques into their daily wellness routine.
Vivian O’Dofin DanielThe Strategic Manager of Dr Teal’s Nigeria thanked the guests and said the brand has been rebranded with a new look with subtle yet distinct differences that will help consumers avoid consuming counterfeit products.
“Dr Teals has rebranded with a new look and new packaging can now be seen everywhere – a subtle difference, but very clear. The other main way we are helping our customers distinguish between counterfeit and genuine Dr Teals products is through our new distribution lines. We distribute exclusively on Perfect Trust Cosmetics and Jumia, and have partnered with certain key stores to ensure customers are getting authentic products and value for their money.”
Also speaking about the brand’s new product range, Vivienne expressed her excitement at the launch of Dr Teal’s new Prebiotic Lemon Balm Series and Avocado Ceramide Series.
“I’m super excited about two products that we’re officially launching today. The Prebiotic Lemon Balm range is so refreshing, so beautiful, and great for skin. It’s the most beautiful citrus blend ever. The other one that’s blowing my mind is Ceramides and “The Avocado Oil line is a very thoughtful product for the brand, fusing ceramides with an amazing superfood fruit like avocado oil, and incorporating it not only in our oils, but also in our lotions, washes and salts. It’s an all-around great experience for Dr. Teal’s and its consumers.”
Vivienne ended her statement by assuring that these new products will encourage consumers to spend longer in the bathroom washing and soaking, thus practicing better self-care habits.
The brand has suffered the devastating impact of counterfeit goods in the Nigerian market, forcing it to relaunch and introduce new product lines. Over the past few months, Dr. Teals has been collaborating with the Nigerian Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Nigerian Police to combat the menace of counterfeit goods plaguing the consumer goods industry.
