Los Angeles— This summer, thousands of yogis from around the world will gather to experience divine inspiration, communion, and Kriya Yoga The teachings of Paramahansa Yoganandaa world-renowned teacher and best-selling author of spiritual classics Autobiography of a Yogi.
The Self-Realization Fellowship World Conference will be held July 14-20. They met for the first time in 20 years at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.19 — It will be streamed live for free, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Last year, more than 22,000 participants from over 130 countries attended the conference online.
Paramahansa Yogananda, widely regarded as the father of yoga in the West, founded this annual tradition in 1950 to offer aspiring yogis an opportunity to step away from their everyday lives and immerse themselves in spiritual classes, devotional singing, group meditation and receive practical instruction on how to successfully face the challenges of everyday life.
“Because we are all seekers of bliss, we desire to try and experience for ourselves a universal truth that exists in all people and can be felt by all,” Yogananda says. “This state is not someone’s invention; it is already there; we just have to discover it.”
Events at this year’s gathering, led by monks and nuns from the Self-Realization Fellowship, include:

Monks and nuns from the Self-Realization League will also be visiting various cities. Gathering activities will be held in Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America, and gathering viewing events will be held in person at many Self-Realization Fellowship meditation centers around the world.
