Last week, a bipartisan U.S. congressional delegation led by Rep. Michael McCaul met with the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala.
Former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was part of the delegation, “strongly reaffirmed” Congress’ support for the Tibetan people.
She also launched a blistering attack on Xi, saying his legacy as Tibet’s spiritual leader will live on forever, but that China’s president will be gone in a few years.
