Nagpur (Maharashtra) / New Delhi [India]June 24: As the country celebrates its 10th International Yoga Day, Nagpur-based startup Habuild celebrated and set a new world record on Friday, June 21, 2024. The consistency-focused habit-forming wellness platform set a world record by getting 599,162 people to perform yoga asanas. To create excitement and encourage as many people as possible to participate in this event-packed celebration, the brand ran a free 21-day yoga challenge ahead of International Yoga Day to get into the spirit of the day.
Habuild, a habit-building and holistic wellness brand, aims to encourage maximum number of people from different walks of life to come together and make yoga a habit. The free yoga option will motivate people to exercise and once they are sure of attending regularly, they will decide to subscribe. Not only this, the brand also plans to plant 25,000 trees depending on the number of referrals they receive. Before creating the yoga day world record, the team committed to plant one tree for every five referrals they received.

The ongoing 21-day free yoga challenge has garnered immense attention from across the globe with yoga enthusiasts joining from all walks of life. Moreover, the wellness brand has grown exponentially over the past year, garnering interest from regions like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Delhi and many other tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The historic event attracted participants from 92 countries across the globe, including North America, Singapore and the Middle East. This ongoing yoga challenge will commence on June 10, 2024 and will be free for all participants till June 30, 2024.
An official team from the World Record Union oversaw the prestigious event. Officials announced that 599,162 people participated in the event, celebrating the importance of yoga and health on a global scale.
