Is it me? of The comedian took us behind the scenes to see his gym, his fridge and revealed why he stays in tip-top shape to tell jokes every day.
Hidden behind Maniscalco’s black-and-white striped refrigerator is what he describes as “deliciousness.” I agree. The fridge itself is filled with every fruit, vegetable, meat, cheese, and pasta imaginable, and meticulously organized. Not only is it beautiful to look at, it also showcases the variety of foods and flavors he’s incorporating into his meals. Despite the variety, Maniscalco jokes that the container of bell peppers is “totally for the color,” quips, “I bought it for the look.”
The comedian claims that eggs are his staple food, with a typical breakfast consisting of three to four eggs, smoked salmon, and some avocado. He explains that when he’s on tour, he eats healthier, prioritizing protein to maintain the energy and stamina he needs on set. And he reveals one item that’s never in his fridge.
“When I was a kid, my mom would make liver with onions every Friday and it was awful.”
Needless to say, Bucky The star’s source of protein likely won’t come from that childhood staple.
Maniscalco then M.H. He went to the gym and proudly showed off his recently installed pickleball court, which he joked he “just felt like I needed it” now that he turned 50.
Inside the gym, Maniscalco demonstrated the stretches she does daily with her trainer and was asked how her fitness routine has changed as she has gotten older.
“When I was in my 20s, 30s and early 40s, it was mainly about appearance,” he says. “It used to be about weight training. Now, you don’t need plates, it’s about nutrition and flexibility. I don’t care as much about how big my pecs are or my biceps or my legs are. That’s not the goal. Now it’s about mobility.”
Despite his advanced age, Maniscalco continues to prioritize wellness routines at home. In Season 2 of his hit HBO show, Bucky It’s clear that mobility is a priority for him so that he can continue to bring plenty of laughs to viewers’ home screens.
