- Steps 1Combine the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls. Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally and coat with flour (shaking off excess), eggs, and breadcrumbs. Cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Steps 2Place the cabbage in a non-metal bowl, toss with the lime juice and set aside.
- Steps 3Pour oil into a large, deep frying pan, coming up to about 1 inch (2 cm) from the sides. Heat the bread cubes until they are sizzling. Fry the chicken, turning occasionally, for 7 to 8 minutes (in batches if necessary) until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on kitchen paper and season with salt.
- Steps FourMeanwhile, mix the gochujang and barbecue sauce. Spread onto 4 slices of bread. Top each with chicken, cabbage, and remaining bread. Cut in half and serve.
