
Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley, together with Valley partners Nestlé and Tetra Pak, recently held a national event in Bern, bringing together over 60 Swiss and European partners. The joint project aims to highlight some of the most promising approaches in sustainable packaging materials and drive further innovation through new collaborations.
Commenting on the event, Christina Zeng Jacobsen, CEO of Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley, said: “The event demonstrated the incredible potential of collaborative innovation. The challenges around sustainable packaging cannot be solved in silos. Collaboration between start-ups, established multinational companies, research institutes and government agencies is essential.”

Today we connected with several innovators whose research will help us move forward even further, and we look forward to continuing these conversations.”
The Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley team plans to publish and publish a report summarizing key insights and learnings from the event.
