Catawba County residents age 60 and older can participate in Senior Morning Out, held Monday through Thursday mornings at five convenient locations. A hot, nutritious lunch is provided each day. The program is free to participants, who can choose the days they want to attend. Some locations provide bus transportation to the venue. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities in June, including a trip to the Farmer’s Market and cooking demonstrations.

Seniors Morning Out is run by Senior Nutrition Services of Catawba County Social Services and is seeking volunteers to help with the program Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
