Baccarat, the alchemist of pleasure and icon of Art de Vivre, and Basil Hayden, the high-rye bourbon that showcases its light and sophisticated side, have announced their partnership at the 77th Tony Awards. Taking place for the first time at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City on Sunday, June 16, the two brands will expertly weave their craftsmanship with the past, present and future to present the Baccarat x Basil Hayden Speakeasy, a special and unforgettably upscale experience on Broadway’s biggest night.
Attendees will be treated to meticulously crafted Tony Awards-inspired cocktails featuring Basil Hayden classics including Dark Rye, Malted Rye, Toast and the brand’s Original Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Guests will experience the evening’s official signature cocktail, the Basil Hayden 75, a signature Basil Hayden twist on the French 75, created specifically to be sipped in a Baccarat Maesa Coupe. Accompanying the cocktail will be a bourbon-forward cocktail, the Baccarat Bourbevière, a refreshing “spritz” Prove and a curtain-closing “Standing Ovation,” each with its own unique trophy served in a Baccarat glass.
In addition to the Baccarat x Basil Hayden Speakeasy, available exclusively to VIP guests at the Tony Awards, Broadway fans and spirits lovers can enjoy select drinks from the Basil Hayden x Baccarat Speakeasy cocktail menu for a limited time in the Bar and Grand Salon at Baccarat Hotel New York, making a one-week exclusive guest appearance through June 19th.
