The classic Texas Ranch Water is a drink we’re all familiar with. How do you make it even more Southern? Add a splash of peach nectar and garnish the glass with a few fresh peach slices.
Peach Ranch Water is also a great and easy choice for a party: If you’re serving a large crowd, simply combine tequila, sparkling water, peach nectar, and lime slices over ice and let guests mix their own drinks.
Peach Ranch Water Ingredients
Peach ranch water is a simple drink that requires just a few readily available ingredients.
- Chili-lime condiments (such as tajin): It’s an optional ingredient to add a spicy flavor to the rim of your glass, and I loved it so much in my Spicy Ranch Water that I used it in this drink too.
- ice: Keeps your drinks cold.
- Blanco Tequila: We love Blanco Tequila for its clean, fresh flavor.
- Peach Nectar: Using peach nectar in your ranch water allows you to enjoy this summery drink any time of the year.
- Fresh lime juice: A dash of lime juice brings out the sweetness of the peach nectar.
- Sparkling water (e.g. Topo Chico): Topo Chico is the traditional choice for a ranch water cocktail.
- Peach slices: Optional garnish: If peaches are in season, add them to your glass. For even more peach flavor, mash a very soft slice of peach in the bottom of the glass before adding ice.

What tequila is best for ranch water?
We recommend using blanco tequila (use your favorite brand) as it is unaged and smooth, making it perfect for fruity, citrusy drinks like Ranch Water. Aged tequila can overpower the flavor of the other ingredients.
How to Make Peach Ranch Water
The best thing about this cocktail is how easy it is to make: with the right ingredients and a cocktail glass, it’ll be ready to drink in just a few minutes.
- step 1: First, rim the glass with tajine (if using), then fill the glass with ice.
- Step 2: Add tequila, peach nectar, and lime juice to glass.
- Step 3: Add soda, stir gently and garnish with peach slices.
