As the Marquette University community mourns the death of President Michael R. Lovell, opportunities for prayer and reflection continue on campus.
- Members of the University community are invited to spend time by the cross, located next to the information desk on the second floor of Alumni Memorial Hall, and write messages on ribbons to attach to the cross.
- The campus community is also invited to write a message in one of two memorial books being presented to the Lovell family, which will be placed near the cross at AMU and in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.
- Prayer vigils on campus will continue to be held in the Chapel of St. Joan of Arc, and everyone is welcome to say a prayer at President Lovell’s memorial, light a candle, or write a message in the Book of Remembrance.
- All are invited to attend a Mass at 10 PM on Tuesday, June 18, in the Chapel of St. Joan of Arc. A Rosary will be recited for President Lovell earlier that day in the Grotto of St. Mary behind the Chapel of St. Joan of Arc. A time will be announced soon.
- A noon Mass will be held in the Chapel of St. Joan of Arc on Thursday, June 20th. Exhibit and Adoration will follow the Mass until 2:00 PM.
Mental health resources will continue to be available to members of the campus community.
