In this interview, Noozhawk spoke with Amy Bacheller, owner of Scent From Heaven, to learn more about the company’s services.

question: What motivated you to start this health and wellness business and what inspired the specific services and products you offer?
answer: The foundation of my holistic health practice is nutritional counseling. This began over 30 years ago when I visited a Boston-area holistic nutritionist for my own health issues. After making significant changes to my food choices, I began to see dramatic changes in my overall health, which inspired me to continue my studies and work with clients.
Over the years, I have added services to my practice that resonate deeply with me and benefit my clients. I am certified in Nutritional Counseling, Clinical Guided Imagery, Aromatherapy, Energy Work, Raw Food, and Sound Healing. I have also studied the work of Anthony William, author of the Medical Medium series. Prior to this practice, I was a Special Education teacher at the elementary and graduate levels.
question: Can you outline your company’s unique value proposition and what sets you apart in the competitive wellness market?
answer: I have extensive training, education and experience. I have worked and learned from some of the best and brightest holistic physicians across the United States. I have worked in medical clinics and have my own holistic healing center in Massachusetts. The addition of sound healing with crystal singing bowls has taken my practice to a new level of depth and elevation, making it more unique and effective than ever before. There is a spiritual and intuitive connection in every treatment I do, whether it is a class or a private client.
question: How do you ensure your services and products are in line with current health trends and consumer needs?
answer: I am constantly researching and exploring the latest needs, and I do my best to stay timeless and focus on what is true and valuable.
question: What strategies do you employ to maintain high quality standards and consistency across your products?
answer: Integrity and quality are core values at Scent From Heaven, and I always strive to ensure our products are exceptional.
question: How do you approach customer feedback and incorporate it into improving your business?
answer: I encourage and welcome feedback from my clients and students and am always looking to improve our offerings at Scent From Heaven.
question: What role do partnerships and collaborations play in your business strategy and how do you select potential partners that align with your brand’s values?
answer: I collaborate with people and places that share my values of happiness, education, service, integrity and quality with a spiritual consciousness.
question: How do you prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility in your business operations and product offerings?
answer: At Scent From Heaven, we have deep respect for the Earth, and we appreciate all living things, including plants and animals. We teach and lead by example in sustainability and environmental responsibility.
question: Can you talk about your plans to expand and diversify your health and wellness business in the future?
answer: Sound healing with crystal singing bowls is an essential component of all the services I currently offer. People want access to more services and can watch/listen to the sessions on social media and purchase videos from my website. I have plans to expand my video and private venues, both virtual and local. I think one of the blessings the pandemic years have brought us has been the connection we’ve had through Zoom. I hope to achieve a more global outreach through virtual services.
question: How do you see your business evolving to meet the changing needs and preferences of health and wellness consumers?
answer: Scent From Heaven has always been based around providing educational classes and services to private clients. What we offer through these outlets has grown and changed over time and will continue to do so. I believe sound healing will receive more attention as it becomes more widely known, accepted and recognized.
question: Finally, what do you think sets your health and wellness business apart from your competitors and how do you maintain a competitive advantage in the market?
answer: I believe we are all needed in the health and wellness field, so I don’t compete with anyone – I trust that people who need what we offer at Scent From Heaven will find us.
