Brian Johnson, the billionaire tech mogul known for his obsession with beating aging, has announced a breakthrough in his mission to turn back our biological clocks. Johnson, who has poured millions into the venture, recently announced on social media platform X that his birthdays are now every 19 months instead of the traditional 12.
Sharing the accomplishment on X, Johnson proudly proclaimed, “My new record is that I’m now aging at 0.64 pace. My birthday is now every 19 months. I previously developed the Braintree Venmo and now I develop a human with the goal of slowing and reversing aging. Nutrition is the formula for anti-aging. This is what I eat every day. So can you.”
“I’ve been working hard to slow down the aging process and I’ve finally achieved a personal best of 0.64, which means that for every 12 months that pass, I only age 7.6 months,” Johnson explained in a video statement.
The 46-year-old tech entrepreneur shared a collage of photos in April showcasing his transformation over the years. The pictures, taken in 2018, 2023, and 2024, highlighted major changes in his appearance. “Even my Face ID is messed up. I’m in transition…” Johnson captioned the collage.
Johnson, who founded and later sold Braintree Venmo, launched Project Blueprint with a focus on longevity research. He claims his health indicators reflect a younger biological age. Unlike chronological age, which measures the amount of time a person has actually lived, epigenetic age assesses biological age based on DNA methylation patterns in cells.
