Vadim Grigoryan, co-founder of Scottish vodka brand X Muse, and Michel Gadaleta, bar manager at BiBo Shoreditch, created the bittersweet, deep red cocktail to celebrate the 60th Venice Biennale art exhibition.

material:

  • 40ml x Muse Vodka
  • 10ml Campari
  • Homemade Raspberry Shrub 20ml*
  • 40ml cranberry juice

Method: Shake in a clean tumbler with large ice cubes, strain through a double strainer and top with the marjoram fizz.

*For the Raspberry Shrub: 115g raspberries, 300g sugar, 50g vinegar, 30ml Oloroso sherry, 1 tablespoon each citric acid and malic acid (or 20ml lemon juice and 10ml lime juice).

Rene celebrated its first anniversary last month by reinterpreting the normally brandy-based Crusta with gin, and topping it with edible glitter for an extra touch of luxury.

material:

  • Rene Gin 45ml
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • Orange Curacao 20ml
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • 50ml champagne
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Golden granulated sugar and edible glitter to coat the sugar rim
