Speaking about the book, the author said: “I am thrilled that this book will be published by HarperNorth under the direction of Ben McConnell. This project has been years in the making and I am thrilled to finally share it with the world. I wanted my children to know our story and have a family recipe book so they could enjoy the same dishes that have been enjoyed by generations. I hope that readers, no matter where they come from, will see themselves and their families reflected in this book and recognize and honor their own stories.”
