While the fact that we will eventually grow older remains elusive, there are plenty of ways to maintain vitality and vitality. In the past few decades, anti-aging products have taken the world by storm. With the increasing awareness of personal care regimes, fitness indices, nutritious diets, and other ways to lead a healthy lifestyle, we are all searching for ways to stay young and beautiful forever. And who can deny social media and peer pressure? Learn about Retinol and Vitamin C

Retinol and Vitamin C are two of the most popular skin care ingredients known for their anti-aging properties. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A and is the top anti-aging ingredient people swear by. It speeds up cell renewal, making skin smoother and more youthful.

When should I start using retinol?

If you hear these names every day, you might be wondering at what age you should start using them. Is your 20s or teens too early? To be fair, there is no right or wrong age to start using retinol, and most dermatologists recommend incorporating it into your skin care routine starting in your late 20s. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends starting anti-aging treatments in your mid to late 20s. You don’t have to wait until you notice fine lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet. However, if you start using anti-aging products at any age, you should consult a dermatologist. Also, you should start slowly with one application per week and gradually increase it to 3-4 times a week, as it can cause mild skin irritation such as redness and peeling.

When should I start taking Vitamin C?

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can neutralize and remove dangerous oxidants found primarily after exposure to environmental pollutants and UV rays. The vitamin C found in the epidermis is very safe, so there aren’t many safety precautions to take when taking vitamin C. This ingredient is highly effective in teenagers’ skin care, but medical advice is a must.

Choose from a wide range of skin care essentials to enhance your skin’s health

If you’re planning on starting to use these skin care ingredients in your early 20s or teenage years, there are a few things you should keep in mind: Check out this infographic for more information.
