The latest announcements about non-restaurant and non-bar businesses that have opened, are opening soon or have closed in the Tulsa metropolitan area.
Tulsa Premium Outlets opens in Jenks
The long-planned Tulsa Premium Outlets at Jenks will have its grand opening Aug. 15, the mall’s developer, Simon Property Group, announced last week.
Simon also announced several brands that will open at the mall.
BOSS, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Vineyard Vines, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie, Carhartt, Coach, Crocs, Janie & Jack, Levi’s, New Balance, Puma, Alta, and Under Armour.
Participating brands announced so far at the mall include Tory Burch, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Columbia Sportswear, Vera Bradley, Los Cabos Little Kitchen and Camp Pickle.

According to a Camp Pickle spokesperson, the restaurant will be themed around a 1940s summer camp and will feature pickleball courts, duckpin bowling, darts and more.
The mall has been in the planning stages since 2018 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated supply chain issues.
Tulsa Premium Outlets will consist of more than 330,000 square feet of retail, entertainment, fast-casual restaurants and amenities. This expansive center will feature more than 75 shops and dining establishments.
New Burlington at Tulsa Hills
Burlington Stores, Inc., a national discount clothing and accessories retailer, will open a new store in the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center in west Tulsa.
The new store (7410 S. Olympia Ave.) will have its grand opening June 21 and will offer giveaways that day and throughout the weekend.
Opening hours are 9am to 11pm daily.
Following the grand opening ceremonies on June 21st and 22nd, the first 100 customers aged 18 and older will receive a $10 bonus card to use on their purchase.
On June 23rd, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella while supplies last – no purchase necessary.
The new store brings the total number of stores in the state to 13.
Michaels reopens in southeast Tulsa
The Michaels craft store, located at 11119 E. 71st St., recently held its grand opening.
Opening hours are 9am to 9pm daily, 10am to 7pm on Sundays.
According to a news release, “The new store is a more sophisticated and simple Michaels with self-checkout registers, a Michaels Custom Framing Center and a carefully selected assortment of the most popular materials and components in arts, crafts, framing, flowers, kids’ crafts, DIY, yarn, beading and scrapbooking to inspire creativity in the surrounding area.”
Michaels plans to open several new stores in this updated format, which features self-service “buy online, pick up in store” and curbside pickup, the company said.
The press release said the new format “represents Michaels’ ongoing innovation in every aspect of its business to provide customers with a more seamless shopping experience.”
The store closed temporarily in 2023 after underground pipes flooded, according to authorities.
Dog health service Scent Hound opens first store in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Scent Hound, a health-focused dog care service whose main goal is to keep dogs clean, healthy and happy, is set to open its newest location at 8222 E 103rd St. in Tulsa.
The new Scenter will be the brand’s first store in Oklahoma and is scheduled to open June 19th.
Local owners Chris and Hilary Ross first heard about the Scent Hound concept through a podcast Chris was listening to and “immediately became enamored with the franchising opportunity for the brand,” according to a news release.
Prior to joining Scenthound, Chris worked as a Global Project Manager at Amazon. Hilary served in the Air National Guard on F-16 fighter/attack aircraft and has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas, manufacturing, and chemical sectors.
