European health spa operator Ensana has announced the strategic appointment of Dr László Puczkó as Senior Health Spa Advisor.
Founded in 2019, Ensana manages 28 hotels across the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and the UK. It operates with a holistic approach to wellness that combines the power of natural healing with modern medical expertise and advanced diagnostic methods to help guests achieve their personal health goals.
Under Pucko’s guidance, the group aims to further refine its health spa services to effectively address modern health conditions while adhering to the core philosophy of harnessing natural resources for healing.
Puchko brings more than 30 years of experience in health, wellness and tourism to the role and is known in the industry for his passion for wellness tourism.
With a background in economics, sociology and health tourism management, Puczko has worked internationally as a consultant, advisor, trainer and researcher helping organizations develop and improve wellness and health-related services.
He has authored numerous publications and books on health tourism and wellness for organisations such as the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the Global Wellness Summit.
His work focuses on incorporating wellness principles into tourism and hospitality, ensuring services meet the changing needs of consumers seeking health and wellbeing benefits.
