Councilwoman Lisa Karns welcomed the 2nd Ward and Burlington community to the Burlington Community Care Forum, a groundbreaking event aimed at increasing community health and engagement.
It’s taking place tonight (Wednesday, June 5) from 7-9pm in the Burlington City Hall Atrium. The free event will be hosted by 20 different organizations, giving attendees the opportunity to stop by, network and learn about their community service. At 7:30pm there will be a panel of community partners presenting how the organizations support residents and how people can get involved with them through volunteering, donations and support.

The Burlington Community Care Forum provides a dynamic platform for local service organizations to showcase their services and engage directly with members of the community. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between residents in need and great organizations that provide assistance.
